Brief History: ECWA George Campion Academy was established in November,1986 first as a Nursery/Primary school.  It opened with Nursery one, Nursery Two and Primary One with a afoundation staff of three.  It was set up primarily to cater for the educational and spiritual needs of the children of ECWA Hospital, Egbe Staff and other people within the environment.  By 1994, September 19, the secondary section was opened.
Since 1994, the school has been growing by leaps and bounds. We have turned out graduates into the higher institutions of learning.  To date, the school can boast of our products who have graduated from universities, colleges of technology etc. Among the graduates, we have doctors, pharmacists, teachers, nurses, accountants etc.
To God be the glory for the growth and sustenance of the school for these years.  Over time, the objectives of setting up the school are being met.  The population now stands at 850.

Vision/Mission Statement:
Vision-  That the school may provide quality education that will bring glory to God.
Mission - To bring up children who will be useful to themselves, the society at large and ultimately to God.

Activities highlight:
In the school various activities are lined up in the school such as:
-Spiritual activities - Daily morning devotions for both staff, students and pupils.   The school Chaplain coordinate the activities
-Academic activities - highly dedicated and qualified staff engage the pupils and students in teaching/learning activities on daily basis.  Assignments are given regularly. Periodic tests are administered to evaluate the students
-Clubs and societies are functional in the school
-Sporting activities such as athletics, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, lawn tennis etc.
 

How can the school be supported?  We need support of people of God in the following areas:
+ 10 computer sets are needed for training of the students in computer literacy.  We want to introduce internet facilities and some of the computers will be earmarked for this

+A school bus that can sit a minimum of 20-30 students.  This is to complement the 18 seater bus we presently have which is being over-utilised as the bus makes not less than 5-6 trips everyday before it can convey all the pupils/students to school.

+ Teaching/learning Aids suitable for teaching at the Nursery/Primary and Secondary levels e.g. Overhead projector, televisions, educational discs in physics, chemistry, biology, maths, english etc.

+Building of a chapel for use of the school community. This is needed for the spiritual growth of the entire community.  Donation of money will be appreciated.  A total sum of N10 million is estimated for the construction.
